Cruise Terminals 1 and 2 sit in the Western Docks, roughly a mile from town — walkable along the flat seafront in about 20 minutes. A shuttle usually runs into town. Dover Priory station has fast services to London St Pancras in around an hour, which makes Dover a viable London day for people willing to take the risk.
